PVPower supports the American Clean Energy and Security Act that is currently in congress. The Waxman Markey American Clean Energy and Security Act (ACES) is a comprehensive energy bill that lays the framework for America’s transition to a clean energy economy.

The two most important components of ACES are the science-based cuts in global warming pollution, and its reduction in our use of dirty energy through a renewable energy standard and energy efficiency standard.

We support this bill but also want to make sure weakening amendments do not pass, rather, we hope to strengthen it so it can really deliver on its promise to create green jobs, transform our economy, and stop global warming.
