Solar security lights offer safety for the home environment without any waste of electricity. Photovoltaic panels provide clean and free power directly from the sun and store it within batteries. This means that the lights will work reliably whenever needed, even during a power outage!

Most solar security lights are equipped with motion detectors. The lights will automatically turn on whenever a physical disturbance in the area is detected. After a certain period of stillness, usually around thirty seconds, they will also automatically turn off. There is no need for a homeowner to turn them on or off his or herself.
